Our latest technology, the iTrace, uses the thin beam principal of optical ray tracing and measures 256 points thru the central 2-8mm area of the pupil. Your glasses prescription is mathematically calculated so a person with a healthy eye will not have to answer better 1 or 2 to finalize the glasses prescription. This gives complete information of the optical powers of the eye with wavefront aberrometry, corneal topography, pupillometry, auto-keratometry, quality of vision and vision functioning so if you are not correctable to 20/20, we can determine what ocular issue is preventing it and how best to correct the issue. The iTrace helps in determining the true optical center of an individual’s eye along with distinguishing between corneal and lenticular astigmatism. It also aids in choosing the best type of implant for cataract surgery – standard, toric or multifocal.
